Cygnus 3 Slot
Cygnus 3 sends its marbles towards a wheel: a Cygnus Wheel symbol reaching the left pillar earns a spin that always pays something. Three fixed jackpots sit on that wheel, quoted at the same euro values whatever you stake.
Cygnus 3 Demo
Track a multiplier wild through a win, since it loses its wild function once used and regains it the first time it reaches the bottom row. When the wheel spins, ignore how large each sector looks, because the rules say sector size does not indicate probability.
Cygnus 3 moves the main prize onto a wheel
Wins still come from sliding marbles, but the central event is a spin with three possible kinds of result: a jackpot, free drops or an instant win worth a multiple of the bet. Jackpots and instant wins end the game round on the spot, so free drops are the only outcome that keeps it going.
ELK Studios released the game in July 2023 on the familiar board of six columns and four to eight rows, with 4,096 to 262,144 ways. The rules stage it in the Roman Colosseum.

A 26.0% hit frequency at 7 of 10 volatility is the softest profile of the first three Cygnus games, though 74 rounds in 100 still pay nothing. RTP of 94.0% is a long-run theoretical figure, and the rules panel also shows the probability of reaching the maximum win.
From first drop to wheel spin
Rounds open at four rows and 4,096 ways, and wins pay from the first column rightwards with no gaps. Winners explode, survivors slide until they settle, and further wins pay until nothing connects. New symbols then drop in with another row on top, up to eight rows and 262,144 ways.
Every multiplier symbol in view is added together and the total applies to each win, so an x5 and an x10 side by side give x15. A wheel spin earned mid-sequence waits until the avalanche has finished.
The wheel, the jackpots and multiplier wilds
The wheel gets the attention, but the multiplier wilds decide how much an ordinary sequence pays.
Cygnus Wheel
One symbol reaching the leftmost column earns one spin, played after the current avalanche ends. Every spin awards a prize: a jackpot, free drops or an instant win. Jackpots and instant wins are paid at once and close the round. Ignore the artwork when judging odds, as the rules state that sector size is no guide to the chance of stopping there.
Fixed jackpots
Sky pays €1,000, Star €10,000 and Cygnus €100,000, per the product sheet and official page. These values do not move with your stake, which changes their weight: on a €0.20 bet Sky alone is 5,000x, while on €100 it is 10x. All three can be won from any bet size, and a higher bet level increases the chance. No odds are published, so that is no reason to stake beyond your budget.
Multiplier wilds
A multiplier wild begins as both a wild and a multiplier. Once used as a wild in a win it remains a plain multiplier, until the first time it reaches the bottom row, when the wild function comes back. Neither wild type can stand in for the Cygnus Wheel symbol or for multiplier symbols. Adding values together makes growth steadier than the doubling in the first game.
Free drops
The wheel can award up to 10 free drops, and each one restarts at four rows. Multiplier and multiplier wild symbols stay on the bottom row between drops, so the multiplier level holds for the whole bonus. A Cygnus Wheel symbol reaching the leftmost column during free drops earns another spin, held over until no drops remain. Winnings are paid at the end of the bonus.
Super Bonus
Multiplier symbols gain value after every win in the Super Bonus, and the rules only describe reaching it through the Super Cygnus Wheel mode in X-iter. A spin there has to stop on free drops for it to begin, so paying for that mode does not guarantee the Super Bonus itself. The official page simply lists it among the features, which makes this easy to miss.
Cygnus 3 X-iter modes and costs
Five modes cost from 2x to 500x the selected bet, and all of them start from the base game only. Read the two dearest closely: each guarantees a wheel spin, and a spin can land on an instant win instead of free drops.
| Mode | Cost | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Bonus Hunt | 2x | A single drop with over twice the chance of triggering the Cygnus Wheel, but no spin guaranteed. |
| Multiplier Wild | 10x | One drop with a guaranteed multiplier wild worth at least x5. |
| Rising Multiplier Wilds | 25x | Multiplier symbols gain value after every win for one drop. |
| Cygnus Wheel | 100x | Guarantees one spin on the Cygnus Wheel, whichever prize it lands on. |
| Super Cygnus Wheel | 500x | Guarantees one Super Cygnus Wheel spin, and the Super Bonus begins only if it stops on free drops. |
X-iter is not offered in every market, so availability depends on where you play.
How the win cap and the jackpots fit together
The rules cap a game round at 10,000x the placed bet or at the value of the Cygnus jackpot, and they do not explain how those two limits relate. The arithmetic is still worth knowing: on a €10 bet, 10,000x equals €100,000, so below that stake the Cygnus jackpot is worth more than 10,000x and above it the reverse holds. If the exact limit matters, check the rules panel in your version.
ELK's published potential is 10,000x, and the data sheet's €1,000,000 max exposure matches that multiple at a €100 bet. With no stated jackpot odds, the 94.0% RTP says nothing about whether one will land.

Where this game sits in the series
Cygnus built everything on doubling scatters with a 5,000x cap, and Cygnus 2 switched to a growing additive multiplier under a 50,000x cap. This game drops the cap to 10,000x, adds the jackpots and routes free drops through a wheel spin, so reaching the left pillar no longer guarantees a bonus round. Cygnus 4, 5 and 6 followed, and this site has not reviewed them yet.
Cygnus 3 pros and cons
What works
- Every wheel spin pays a prize, and the jackpots can be won from any stake
- 7 of 10 volatility and a 26.0% hit frequency, the softest of the first three games
- Multipliers stay on the bottom row across free drops
- X-iter prices span 2x (Bonus Hunt) to 500x (Super Cygnus Wheel)
What to watch
- A wheel spin can end the round with an instant win instead of free drops
- The 10,000x cap is a fifth of the 50,000x in Cygnus 2
- Jackpot chance rises with bet level and no odds are published
- The 500x Super Cygnus Wheel guarantees a spin, not the Super Bonus
Who Cygnus 3 suits best
A clear event to wait for and a fixed prize that does not scale with stake are the draws here, within a lower-volatility frame than its predecessors. Skip it if a high cap is the point, in which case Cygnus 2 fits better, or if it bothers you that jackpot chances rise with bet level without published odds.
Cygnus 3 questions answered
What is the RTP of Cygnus 3?
The product and data sheets both list 94.0%. It is a theoretical long-run figure, and the rules use the same one for all X-iter modes.
What is the max win in Cygnus 3?
The published potential is 10,000x the bet. The rules word the cap as 10,000x or the value of the €100,000 Cygnus jackpot, so a jackpot at a small stake can be worth more than 10,000x.
Is a Cygnus 3 demo available?
Yes, the free demo on this page runs on virtual credit. It shows the wheel and how multiplier wilds switch on and off.
How do you trigger the Cygnus Wheel and its free drops?
A Cygnus Wheel symbol has to reach the leftmost column, and the spin follows once the avalanche has ended. Free drops only come from that spin stopping on the free drops prize.
Does betting more improve the jackpot chance in Cygnus 3?
The chance rises with bet level, while the jackpot values stay fixed. No odds are published, so it is not a number you can plan around.
