Wild Toro II Slot
Wild Toro II turns the Matador from an obstacle into the engine: one in view starts respins, adds a row and walks as a wild. Let Toro catch a Gold Matador and he takes its multiplier, then keeps raising it as he walks, in a game capped at 10,000x.
Wild Toro II Demo
Count the rows each time a Matador lands, and follow a Gold Matador's multiplier as it rises with every step. The spin to wait for has Toro knocking one off, because the multiplier moves across to him and carries on climbing.
What the sequel changes about the bull and the Matador
The biggest change from Wild Toro is what a Matador does with no bull around. In the original it blocks positions and waits. Here a Silver or Gold Matador is a Walking Wild that moves left and awards respins, and any Matador in view triggers the Expanding Matador Respins, so a symbol that used to get in the way now drives the base game.
The grid starts at 5 reels and 5 rows and can reach 8 rows, with connecting paylines ranging from 259 up to 502. ELK launched it in October 2021 and cast Toro as a returning world champion.

A 22.1% hit frequency means a win on a little over one spin in five, and 7 of 10 volatility fits a game where much of the value waits in multiplier runs. The 95.0% RTP is theoretical and long-run, so check the in-game rules for the figure your version uses.
How a spin of Wild Toro II unfolds
A spin with no Matador or Toro resolves as a plain 5×5 result, at a bet between €0.20 and €100. The ordinary Wild replaces any symbol except those two.
Everything interesting starts with a Matador. It triggers the Expanding Matador Respins, adds a row, then steps left until it spins out from the first reel, generating one respin per step. A Matador landing further to the right therefore brings more respins than one near reel 1.
Add Toro and the sequence changes. He charges any Matador in view and knocks it off, leaving wild symbols behind, then walks left awarding respins of his own.
Walking wilds, rising multipliers and the Toro charge
Each feature feeds the next, which is why one Matador can turn into a long respin sequence.
Silver Matador
The Silver Matador is the plain version: a Walking Wild that steps left and awards a respin per step until it spins out from the first reel. The rules give it no multiplier, so its value lies in what it does to the grid. It adds a row when it appears, and three in view take a 5-row grid to the maximum of 8.
Gold Matador
A Gold Matador makes the same walk and carries a progressive multiplier that rises with each step, so landing further right gives it more room to build. The rules publish no starting value or ceiling for it. It has two possible endings: it spins out from reel 1 and the multiplier leaves with it, or Toro catches it and takes the value over.
Expanding Matador Respins
One or more Matadors in view start this feature, and each Matador adds a row of symbols up to a maximum of 8. More rows mean more connecting paylines, within the data sheet's range of 259 up to 502. Only the two top X-iter modes state that expansion persists between spins, so do not count on that in normal play.
Toro Goes Berzerk
Toro goes Berzerk (ELK's web text spells it Bezerk) whenever Matadors appear in view. He charges, knocks them all off and leaves a trail of wild symbols behind him. Knocking off a Matador ends its walk, so you swap its remaining steps for wilds on the grid. Toro is himself a Walking Wild that awards respins, so the sequence carries on after the charge.
Walking Multiplier Wild
ELK's product sheet calls this moment Matador Knockout. When Toro knocks off a Gold Matador he absorbs its multiplier and becomes a Walking Multiplier Wild, and his value keeps increasing as he walks left. Any further Toro landing during those respins inherits the current multiplier. This chain is the clearest route to large multipliers, though nothing in the rules makes it common.
Wild Toro II X-iter modes and what each one buys
All five modes are priced against the selected bet, so the 500x mode costs €500 at a €1 bet. Purchases happen from the base game only, and the rules leave their RTP to the in-game display.
| Mode | Cost | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| 100% Win | 5x | Guarantees a winning game round with all dead spins removed, though nothing in the rules promises a win above the 5x paid. |
| Sticky Wilds | 25x | Gives 1 spin with a guaranteed Expanding Matador Respins feature, and every wild that appears during the respins stays in place. |
| Bonus | 100x | Guarantees the Toro Goes Berzerk feature, so both a Toro and a Matador are promised. |
| Big Bonus | 250x | Gives 3 spins with at least 1 Expanding Matador Respins feature, sticky wilds during an ongoing respin feature and expansion that persists between spins. |
| Super Bonus | 500x | Adds to the Big Bonus terms by carrying the highest multiplier reached in a spin onto any Gold Matador multiplier in the following spin. |
Not every market offers X-iter, so this menu may be missing where you play.
Reading the numbers: 95.0% RTP, 7 of 10, 10,000x
The sequel gives up theoretical return for a much higher ceiling. Against the original, RTP falls from 96.4% to 95.0% and hit frequency from 24.9% to 22.1%, while the cap rises from 2,250x to 10,000x. Fewer spins pay, and more of the game's return has to come from bigger sequences.
That cap equals €1,000,000 on the €100 top bet, matching the maximum exposure on ELK's data sheet, and ELK publishes nothing on how often anything close to it happens.
X-iter needs its own caution. Big Bonus and Super Bonus promise at least one feature across three spins, not one on each, and each purchase spends a large slice of a balance in one go.

How it fits between Wild Toro and Wild Toro 3
Wild Toro is the simpler parent: a fixed 178 ways on a 5×4 grid, three Matadors to start its respin challenge and no buy menu. Wild Toro 3 launched in May 2026 with X-iter, and this guide has yet to cover it.
Outside the series, Tropicool shares the 95.0% RTP, 7 of 10 volatility and 10,000x cap on a fixed 6×6 grid, while Cygnus 3 also grows to 8 rows, on six reels, at 94.0%.
Wild Toro II pros and cons
What works
- A single Matador starts the respins, where the original needs three for its challenge
- Multipliers carry over: Toro absorbs a Gold Matador's value and later Toros inherit it
- Five clearly priced X-iter modes, 5x to 500x, where the market offers them
- The 10,000x cap leaves far more room than the original's 2,250x
What to watch
- At 95.0%, the RTP sits 1.4 points below the original's 96.4%
- A 22.1% hit frequency means close to four spins in five pay nothing
- The best sequences need Toro and a Gold Matador together, and normal play promises neither
- No published starting value or ceiling for Gold Matador multipliers
Wild Toro II: who it suits and who should pass
This one suits players who enjoy watching a sequence build over several respins and can live with gaps between the spins that matter. Pick the original if you prefer a higher theoretical return and fewer moving parts. X-iter is optional, so anyone uneasy about 100x or 500x purchases can ignore that menu.
